So I just have to take minute to let Matt and my own Dad know that I did not forget about them this past Father's Day. I really am so blessed to have two such amazing men in my life and the lives of my children. Matt is such a great Dad, always playing with the kids when I have no enthusiasm left for them, teaching them patiently as they help him with projects around the house and in the yard, talking to them about their day at bed time when I forget because I am so intent on getting them IN bed and quiet, jumping on the trampoline with them and all their friends, and on and on. Most of all, I love that he makes us laugh everyday! I see the way they adore him and I am SO thankful that I chose him to spend the rest of my life with! I love you Sir!
Then there's my Dad who is just as amazing. He has always believed in me and let me know that he loves me no matter what choices I make in life. He and my mom have been there for us financially when we have had hard times and emotionally when I have needed someone to talk to. He's the one who got me into photography, taught me all about it and generously gave me the fancy camera that I own now when he got a new one. He always tells me how talented I am and he even reads my blog (and likes it)! I am so grateful that I know that I can go to him when I need ANYTHING and I am also grateful that him and Matt are such good friends...which makes me even more grateful that he can go see all the "manly" movies with Matt that I have no interest in seeing so that I don't have to! I love you Dad!
